What is PCYC?

Originally established in 1937 as the Police Boys Club, today's Police and Community Youth Clubs (PCYC) provide safe places for NSW kids to play, study and participate in exciting and productive activities.

Kids can participate in a wide range of team and individual sports, video projects, music programs, self-development programs, homework clubs and alternative education programs that teach basic literacy and numeracy skills as well as vital life skills like how to relate to others and anger management. PCYC means less truancy, less crime and happier, more confident, capable kids.

There are 59 Clubs throughout NSW.

As a result of fundraising, more than 1,400 kids from disadvantaged backgrounds are given free membership each year. PCYC is the largest youth organisation in NSW, with over 72,000 members, 120 Police Officers, 2,500 volunteers and 400 employees.
